Valves are classified according to the operating temperature of the medium they are used to handle: High-temperature valves: These are valves designed for use in environments with temperatures above 450°C, such as in systems involving high-temperature steam or heat transfer oils. Medium-temperature valves: These valves are suitable for use in environments with temperatures ranging from 120°C to 450°C, such as in steam or hot water systems. Normal-temperature valves: These valves are designed for use in environments with temperatures between -40°C and 120°C, and are commonly used with common media such as water and air. Low-temperature valves: These valves are designed for use in environments with temperatures between 100°C and -40°C, and are used in systems involving liquefied natural gas, liquid nitrogen, and other low-temperature media. Ultra-low-temperature valves: These valves are designed for use in environments with temperatures below -100°C. Different types of ultra-low-temperature valves differ in terms of their materials and structures; therefore, the right type of valve must be selected based on the specific application requirements.
