Characteristics of ball valves

Due to the fact that the valve core of a hard-sealed ball valve is spray-welded from alloy steel, and the sealing ring is surfacing-welded from alloy steel, hard-sealed ball valves do not experience significant wear during opening and closing. The hardness coefficient of these valves ranges from 65 to 70, ensuring excellent sealing performance. Since the sealing of hard-sealed ball valves requires manual grinding until the valve core and the sealing ring fit perfectly together before they can be put into use, their sealing performance is truly reliable. The opening and closing process is also very smooth because a spring at the bottom of the sealing ring ensures that it remains tightly pressed against the valve core, even when external forces exceed the spring’s pre-tension. These valves have a long service life and are widely used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, power generation, papermaking, nuclear energy, aviation, and rocket technology, as well as in everyday life. Pneumatic ball valves feature a simple and compact design, reliable sealing, and easy maintenance. Since the sealing surface and the ball are usually in a closed position, they are less susceptible to erosion by the medium being handled. They are easy to operate and maintain and are suitable for use with various media, including water, solvents, acids, and natural gas. Their primary function is to cut off or connect the flow of media within pipelines, but they can also be used for regulating and controlling the flow of fluids.
