The meaning of the sewage check valve
2025-12-12 10:55:14
The sewage check valve is an industrial valve used for diverting or combining media flows, or for changing the direction of fluid movement; it is also known as a duckbill valve. It is primarily applied in fields such as coal chemical engineering, petrochemical industry, rubber manufacturing, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, as well as in domestic and industrial wastewater treatment systems and agricultural greenhouse drainage systems. Its nominal diameters range from DN50mm to DN300mm. The main body of the sewage check valve features a top-mounted design, which enhances reliability under high-pressure and large-diameter operating conditions by reducing the number of bolts used to connect the valve components, and also helps to mitigate the impact of the system's own weight on its operation [1]. The rubber valve disc forms a tight seal with the valve seat, allowing it to handle media such as seawater, river water, and chemical wastewater. It boasts excellent wear resistance and is easy to install. The product utilizes high-quality rubber materials to ensure its durability under pressure and temperature, making it suitable for use in drainage systems that contain solid particles.
